A delegate from the International Labour Organization (ILO), Pretoria office, Mr Davido Dorkenoo ( Senior ILO ACTRAV worker's Specilist) visited the institute's premises on the 09th March 2022. Mr Dorkenoo was welcomed by ILES's Executive Director, Mr Shandukani Hlabano. Also in attendance were delegates from Botswana Mine Workers Union (BOMWU), the Executive Secretary Mr Kitso Phiri, National Treasurer Mr Kabo Ramatsipele, the President of BOPEU, Masego Mogwera, the Treasurer General, Mr Martin Gabobake, the Deputy General Secretary, Mr Ketlhapeleng Karabo and ILES staff. The purpose of his tour was to appreciate the work that the institute facilitates to advance decent work and discuss future partnerships & prospects between ILES and ILO.
