HIV/AIDS is one of the greatest challenges facing the world today. In the last decade the world of work has been recognized as a key arena where the battle against HIV/AIDS could be carried out. It is therefore important that employees know how to respond. This course is designed for employees to understand the issues surrounding HIV/AIDS in the context of the application of the ILO, SADC and National code of practice on HIV/AIDS so as to shape workplace policies and programmes to combat HIV/AIDS.
