Rationale

A proper appreciation of the principles of contract employment is crucial to those who enter in employment contracts and to those who deal with contracts on a regular basis. Such knowledge allows them to enter into contracts armed with sufficient knowledge as regard to pros and cons of its terms. It therefore reduces future conflicts between parties (employer and employee) as regard to performance under contract of employment.
