Entry requirements
Certificate in Paralegal Studies
Direct entry: a Junior Certificate (JC) with a pass in English, or BGCSE / IGCSE / HIGCSE or equivalent.
Mature entry: an admissions panel considers the application, taking into account all qualifications, the applicant's age and motivation, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in which work experience plays an important role.
Diploma in Labour Law
Direct entry: BGCSE / IGCSE / HIGCSE or equivalent, including a credit in English Language (a minimum of 30 points from your best 6 subjects); or an NCQF-level Certificate V in Law or a related area from a recognised institution, obtained with a minimum classification of a credit.
Mature entry: an admissions panel considers the application, taking into account all qualifications, the applicant's age and motivation, which may include Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Is ILES accredited?
Yes. ILES is registered with the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA). The Diploma in Labour Law is an NCQF Level 6 qualification and the Certificate in Paralegal Studies is an NCQF Level 5 qualification.

The Diploma in Labour Law needs BGCSE / IGCSE / HIGCSE with a credit in English (at least 30 points from your best six subjects), or a relevant Certificate V in Law. Mature-entry and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applications are also considered.
How much do the programmes cost?
The Diploma in Labour Law is P31,200.00 and the Certificate in Paralegal Studies is P12,000.00 in total, and two-day short courses are P3,000.00. Flexible payment plans are available.
