Introduction

Library services are an essential support service for learning, teaching and research activities for the academic, professional and research programmes offered by ILES. They support client studies and academic staff, research and teaching activities by providing access to variety of literature that enriches and develop independent learning and support research at all levels. The library provides ease of access to national and global resources for its members.

Monday – Friday | 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Saturday/Sunday | Closed
Public holiday | Closed

*Further note that the Library (except for the lending section) will be open for students on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) from 08:00 hrs till 17:00 hrs.

Rules & Regulations

  • Every student must possess his/her library card while making use of the library.
  • Silence must be maintained within the library at all times.
  • Library staff and security personnel have the right to inspect the library user and their belongings.
  • Mobile phones, smoking, drinking, eating and any other misconduct which is nuisance to other users is prohibited.
  • The library shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage of personal effects left by users in any part of the library.
  • Computers in the library are to be used for educational purposes in line with the university computer policy.
  • Writing, defacing or damaging the library materials in any way is prohibited.
  • Consulted books are to be left on the reading table
  • Viewing of objectionable, pornographic materials is not allowed.
  • No group discussions are allowed within the library.
  • Reservation of seats is not allowed in the library.
  • Copyright laws must be observed when using photocopying machines in the library.
