ILES offers both long term programmes and short course trainings.

LONG TERM PROGRAMMES

  • Certificate in Para Legal Studies (1 Year)
  • Diploma in Labour Law (2 Years)

The minimum admission requirement for the Certificate in Para Legal Studies is the Junior Certificate Examinations (JCE). The minimum admission requirement for the Diploma in Labour Law is the Botswana General Certificate Secondary Education (BGCSE).

Mode of Study

  • Full Time Learning
  • Part Time Learning
  • Block Release (Attending on weekends) and Online Learning.

There are two intakes in a year being the January and July intake.

SHORT COURSE TRAININGS

ILES offers Short Course Trainings that run for 2 days each.

The short courses offered are Managing Conflict at the workplace, Disciplinary Hearing & Grievance Procedure, Fundamentals of Employment Contract, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Corporate Governance, Collective Bargaining & Negotiation Skills, Retirement Life Planning, Customer Service, Economics for Non- Economists, Strike Management, Toxicity in the Workplace, Finance for Non- Finance Managers, History of Trade Unions in Botswana, Occupational Health & Safety, HIV/AIDS Awareness in the workplace, Leadership and Shop Steward training, Women Leadership Training: From Members to Leaders and Records and Information Management.
